On March 12, 2021, First Hawaiian, Inc. (“First Hawaiian”) filed a definitive proxy statement (the “Proxy Statement”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with its 2021 Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on April 21, 2021. First Hawaiian is providing this supplement to add certain information with respect to Mr. Mesick and correct inadvertent typographical errors related solely to previously disclosed 2020 compensation for certain executives, in each case in the table appearing on page 66 of the Proxy Statement under the heading “Summary Compensation Table.” The
supplemental and corrected information set out below supplements and corrects the original table, as applicable.
The following information with respect to Mr. Mesick for the fiscal years ended December 31, 2020 and 2019, which was inadvertently omitted in the original filing of the Proxy Statement, is set out below. Mr. Mesick was not a named executive officer of First Hawaiian in 2018. The footnotes to the table are set out in the original filing of the Proxy Statement and remain unchanged.
